The software that runs the business behind the popcorn. We built the custom back office for a Toronto event-rental company: quotes, bookings, invoices, a point of sale, Stripe payments, and reporting, all behind their public site.
We built the whole back office.
Kernels and Cones rents popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cone machines for parties and events across Toronto and the GTA. The public site takes the enquiries. Everything after that runs on software Cedar Bridge Systems designed and built.
We built the customer and product database, the quote to invoice flow, card payments through Stripe and offline payments recorded by hand, a point of sale for events, expense tracking, and income reporting, with transactional email for quotes and receipts. It runs on standard PHP and MySQL hosting with a versioned migration history, so it is easy to maintain and cheap to run.

A tidy record of every customer and a catalogue of machines, flavours, and supplies.
Income and expenses
Log expenses and see income reporting by period, so the season adds up at a glance.
Quotes and receipts by email
Transactional email sends quotes and receipts automatically, straight from the system.

The customer sees a bright marketing site, a machine to rent, and a quick quote. Behind it, the back office turns that enquiry into a booking, an invoice, and a paid job, and keeps the books in order for the season.
